We make animated videos that clearly explain what problem you solve for your customers!
Whether you sell a product, provide a service, sell to consumers or businesses, or just have a Big Idea to explain, we work together as storytellers (that’s us!) and content experts (that’s you!) to make your brand stand out against the competition.
Here’s how we do it:
Step 1 – Story Lab
We start with a one hour conversation to get the down-lo on who your customers are and what problem you solve for them. Whether you have a product or service, sell to consumers or businesses, or just have a Big Idea to explain, the story of your brand needs a Hero, and that hero is your customer. Through our Story Lab process, we begin to unpack your Hero’s journey and what obstacles you help them overcome.
Step 2 – Story Development
We connect at several checkpoints as we develop your story — the script outline, and 2-3 script drafts — so you don’t have to worry about dealing with any surprises. This is also where we help you select a voice over actor that best fits your brand’s personality.
Step 3 – Storyboard
We work with you to develop a look and feel to your video that complements your brand and is mindful of the web content around it. As we develop the visual story, you’ll see rough sketches at first so we can make revisions quickly, then the finished illustrations as we finalize the style and narrative.
Step 4 – Production
Once the script and storyboard are approved, we step behind the curtain, so to speak, and make the magic happen. During this time we build all the assets, set up the After Effects files, and begin the process of making everything move. I (Jen) have learned that animators are a lot like writers and coders — they need long chunks of time to focus, which means they often work late into the night! In about a week we’ll show you a preview of the first half, then a few days after that you’ll see the whole thing.
Step 5 – Delivery
Once the final animation is approved, we’ll send you a Dropbox link with access to all the final files. These include web compatible .mp4, .mov, or .wmv in a preview size, medium 720p, and full 1080p HD.
